What Territorial Integrity?

Why is Georgia so important? Let us follow the trail to its conclusion. When the self-styled ‘Commander-in-Chief’ of the USA denounced the Russian Rescue operation in Georgia he stammered out that breaching Georgia’s territorial integrity was against ‘International Law’, and rabbited on about the rights of the sovereign State. Of course, this, coming from the head of an army which under the banner of “Shock and Awe” had invaded first, Iraq, and then Afghanistan, simply caused international laughter which covered over the intended indignation. However, this charge in turn raises profound issues of law and justice which the brilliant Russian Foreign Minister immediately saw, thus opening up a wider and deeper issue. He immediately drew comparison with Kosovo. The reaction of the media was to see this as the expected Pan-Slavism out of Russia. His powerful argument went much further. It was not to argue that Serbs had a claim, an ancient claim, to the romantic site of their defeat by the Ottoman army. His case was that Kosovo had been conquered by a mercenary international military entity, one which was above all national laws. Ossetia-Abkhazia had been taken by a national military entity, the Russian Federation.

The Collapse of the Monetarist Society

The eroding of the coastlines is one of the effects of our analysed miasma. It is one of the indications of how the present world sickness is itself a defiance of the Divine Creator, may He be exalted, and the natural laws on which He has set up existence.
Certainly the present world system has given a smaller and smaller minority a life which has “seemed long and good to them.” Yet men today live inside a distorting psychosis. The psychosis of numbers-wealth. This is the state of the one who thinks modern money exists. So, firstly, the need to grasp the nature of money, the non-existent nature of ‘money’ itself. Let us examine the structuration of currency.
The widow’s mite. The cent and the penny. Thus it begins with the poor. The decimal foundation of paper money. From 100 coins we reach a One-Something paper note. From there the ‘notes’ soon spiral from hundreds to thousands. As the system goes into action it begins to scoop up the world’s intrinsic value commodities, land and minerals. In order to acquire property and goods to the maximum, where once a hundred were needed, it then becomes a thousand. In our own lifetime a rich man was called a millionaire.

‘Mugabe - The Least of The Dictators’

In a recent interview on French television, the most renowned defence lawyer and jurisprudent of our time, Maitre Vergès, emphatically denounced the ease with which democratic Western intellectuals accuse third world and poor countries of human rights abuses. He insisted that the democratic States today are more guilty of human rights violations than any State in the rest of the world. Democracy has become the licence to void a people of those civic freedoms it once boasted it existed to defend. The question thinking people must ask today is this: why do the leaders of the wealth-regime, the G8, denouncing Mugabe in Zimbabwe – who, admittedly, may be degenerating into a terminal psychopathic condition – continue not just passively but overtly and didactically to support the democratically engineered dictatorships of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan?

‘CALL IT AS IT IS!’

It has now become clear to all reflective people that we are at the end of an age. We are in a perilous time. A barzakh. As the poet said: “One world dying – another powerless to be born.” It is not a time for action. It is not, either, a time for withdrawal. Neither a time to fight in the streets nor to retreat to the mountain. The first necessity of our time is clarification. It is a time to return to the sources. The first necessity is not only to call things by their proper names, but consciously to connect the thing to its name, the action to its name, the reality to its name. In this totalitarian age called – so wrongly – democratic, men are not free, nor do people rule. It is the age of the police, with the police in turn policed by ‘security’ police who assure, not to the masses but to the totalitarian elite, their ‘security’ – that is, the continued enslavement of starving and half-starving mankind.

Risala - To a Young Man on the Edge

Ya Walad – with these words our great scholars and Awliya have started their letters of counsel and guidance on the path of our sublime Deen. They were in every case words on the future life of the youth so that he should achieve maturity, and strengthen the Muslim community not only by good actions in their service but by obeying the command to set up a family, treating both the wife and later the children of the next generation with that wisdom and compassion that would guarantee that the Deen of Islam would flourish as promised by the Merciful Lord, and spread in increase and nobility. Ya Walad – today this does not happen. Today the Muslim youth is living in such a chaos, in such a disaster zone that he not only is frankly ignorant of the Deen but also ignorant about life. In the Qur’an, which, I can assure you, you have never been taught, Allah, glory be to Him, addresses the kuffar – and warns them: and the muminun – and guides them: and mankind itself, the human race – both guiding and warning them.

A Letter to the Key Leader among the
German Muslims

I had intended to write you a letter conveying my prayers to the Creator of the Universe asking blessings on you and the huge Muslim community in the German State, this being the beginning of our Holy month of fasting. One can only regret that the effective preventive work of your special services chose the opening of Ramadan to be the time to make a publicity involving the arrest of these dreadful terrorists, and must hope it was done without reflection, and can only regret that it was not done a month earlier. While every terrorist phenomenon must be utterly removed from the European State, and of that there can be no doubt, my concern is not with either the efficacy or the sensitivity of the special services. My concern is two-fold: one, the abysmal ignorance of the political class and their pseudo-academic advisors, and two, my awareness that the causes of terrorism in Europe and elsewhere, as well as its motor-force, have simply not been understood either sociologically or psychologically.

The Pakistani High Command - The Last Chance

My dear brothers in Islam, and I address also that small group in the military who have been seduced and misled into atheism and easy promotion, for even that small dissident rump I know still has a profound loyalty to the nation of Pakistan. All that is happening now I told you would happen. I warned you. Now you must face up to this. It was a diagnosis and you rejected the medicine, and now the patient is in a critical condition. I told you the dictator Musharraf was a kemalist, and the role of the kemalist was never to turn the guns on the enemy, but to turn them on his own people if they defy the dictatorship. It has happened. There are two civilised and learned bodies within the State of Pakistan. This fundamentally stupid and brutal man has now actively made war on both these groups. It is clear that Pakistani society can no longer function now that it has lost the judiciary and the ‘ulema. Unless we are to see this great Muslim nation plunge into that most hateful of conditions, a civil war, military intervention is absolutely necessary.

The End of an Age

It is important for intelligent people to recognise at what stage in the processes of events they find themselves. In the Hitler epoch, intelligent jews, because they fully understood what was happening around them, knew they quite simply had to escape, those who lacked awareness of the crisis were simply swept away in the horror of the time. The same has been observed of the bourgeoisie on the eve of the Communist Revolution. Being aware of the time you live in not only can help you escape disaster, but it can also empower you to rise to the occasion of taking leadership in a new period of history. Britain has seen many waves of renewal in its long history. It was the Danes turned Englishmen who gave the island its first civilised model of consultation and social justice. It was a later settlement from northern France which raised the country to a higher level of civilisation, architecture and chivalry. The forced re-population of the Highland clansmen by an Anglo-German elite in England did not only devastate the ancient Highland culture, but it re-planted it in New Zealand, Nova Scotia and Australia. As the saying goes in the Highlands, “The All-Blacks are just Highlanders with protein!”

Pakistan in Crisis

It was historically inevitable and it was politically inevitable that the NATO puppet Musharraf would meet his nemesis in conflict with the State’s highest judiciary. Inevitable, because the leading office-holder of the judiciary in his person embodies the law of the State and its justice, while the Pretender to Presidency embodies the overthrowing of the law of the State and the imposition of injustice to the people of Pakistan.  In terms of the philosophy of democracy he represents the fascist overthrow of an elected government by military putsch. In terms of the science of geo-politics he represents the classical insertion of a pre-trained native to uphold the doctrines and policies of a foreign, invasive and imperial entity. The classical modern examples of this were Hitler’s placing Field Marshal Pétain as his governor of France, and the politician Quisling as his governor of Norway. In terms of Islamic Law there seems a powerful case to have him declared kafir, and to this end a panel of judges should examine his case and test him against the unarguable authority of the Fataawa ‘Aalmgheeri. In terms of the important and powerful operating model of ‘Amal in Muslim society, he must at the least be considered Munafiq.

Afghanistan - The Next Phase

Afghanistan will prove to have been America’s third and final Vietnam. France preceded the USA in Vietnam, and its defeat there was swiftly followed by disgrace in Algeria. Russia preceded the USA in Afghanistan and its defeat there was swiftly followed by the collapse of the Communist State. To rescue France, de Gaulle – who saw that France’s enemy was not a State but a financial system – sold the country’s dollars and ordered the adoption of a gold-based monetary system. His argument was its rationality and historicity. It was necessary to depose him, and the mythic ’68 Uprising was staged to force him from office. The financiers’ place man, Pompidou, Rothschild’s cousin, took over as President and in symbolic demonstration of their new statal (leveraged buy-out) power the old jewish ghetto was turned into Paris’ most expensive real estate, and a new financial quarter was built at La Défense. Russia’s retreat from Afghanistan led directly to the utter collapse of the Russian economy and central government.

It is at this time of the Hajj that we are forcibly reminded that our glorious Deen which was sent by Allah the Exalted on the tongue of his chosen Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came with the purified and only acceptable summation of mankind’s worship up until that time. The Hajj reminds us that our perfect Deen is nothing other than the Deen al-Fitra, in its turn purified and established by Sayyiduna Ibrahim, peace be upon him. Thus if there is to be any reunion, as so many of the atheists of today pretend they desire, they must understand that in reason and in history their affair has to end with submission to that pure Deen that Allah has been pleased to call Islam. They must come to us, for to go back would be to go back to the ancient corruptions. Since the Law of Abrogation confirms to us that the abrogated must submit as time has overturned it, in the same way it is our duty to ascertain that the Deen is free of false accretion and deviation. What can rightly be called the Way of the Salaf is of course none other than what our Muttakallimun refer to as the Madhhab of the ‘Amal of the Ahl al-Madinah, which has also been called ‘Umm al-Madhahib’.

Lifting the Veil on the Veil Issue

A few weeks ago, some European leaders met together in Brussels in order to discuss the fall-out caused by the disastrous collapse of the military adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. Concern was expressed about the surprising (to them) rise of numbers entering the Deen of Islam in Europe. Another of their concerns was the awareness of a growing unity and coherence of voice among Muslims who insisted on an end to an ethos which seemed to license and encourage attacks on Islam. Catholic christianity’s dogmas had collapsed in an avalanche of financial claims against paedophile priests, the near-abolition of marriage alongside easy divorce, and the cruel doctrines around abortion and contraception. To distract from their troubles, the Pope decided to win favour with his banking creditors by an attack on Islam. At the Brussels meeting it was decided that a perfect and easy target both to humiliate the Muslims and to break their spirit was an attack on the so-called ‘Islamic veil’. This had the added advantage of boosting the fantasy that atheist women in Europe were ‘free’, were ‘modern’ and not oppressed.
